Most of our interior work starts the same way. We finish a kitchen a homeowner loves, and before we have packed up the last drop cloth, they are pointing at the trim, the ceiling, the hallway, the room the cabinets open onto. The kitchen now sets a standard the rest of the house cannot quite meet, and they want the whole floor to feel like one intentional space.
That is where we come in. We are cabinet specialists first, and that is exactly why our interior painting is different. The same eye for detail that gets a cabinet palette right gets a whole-room palette right. The same crew that sprays a factory-smooth finish on your doors cuts a clean line where your wall meets the ceiling. We work throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and every project begins with the same designer-led color conversation that anchors our cabinet work. Color is the whole job, on a cabinet door or a dining room wall.
What interior painting covers
We paint the rooms and the details that make a home feel finished. Walls and ceilings, the trim and crown molding that frame a room, doors and millwork, and the plaster that older Chicago homes are full of. Where a wall needs patching before paint, or an old water stain needs blocking, that is part of the work, not an upcharge conversation. We prep properly because a great color over poor prep is a finish that fails.
A few things we are known for:
- Trim and molding. Crisp, sharp lines on the woodwork using the same finishing products we use to spray your cabinetry. ILVA 1K & 2K Polyurethane. This defines a room and finishes to read as architecture, not an afterthought.
- Ceilings. Including the modest sloped ceilings of a Cape Cod or the tall plaster ceilings of a pre-war flat.
- Plaster repair. Real plaster work for the cracks and settling that come with an older Chicago home, before a single coat goes on.
- Wallpaper and popcorn-ceiling removal. Taking a room back to a clean, current surface when a previous era left its mark.

- Do you only paint kitchens, or whole homes?
- Whole homes. Cabinets are our specialty and where most clients meet us, but we paint walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and full interiors throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Many of our interior projects begin as a kitchen and grow into the rooms around it.
- Is your interior crew the same one that does the cabinets?
- Yes. That is the point. The people who finish your cabinets are the people who paint the rest of your home, so the standard, the care, and the clean jobsite carry straight through. You are not vetting a second company.
- Do you do the prep, like plaster and patching, or just paint?
- We do the prep. Older Chicago homes come with plaster cracks, settling, and old water stains, and we patch, repair, and prime before any color goes on. Proper prep is why a finish lasts.
- Can you help with color, or do I need to decide first?
