From sewer lines to a spray gun
Joe grew up in a family of tradesmen, the kind where everyone worked with their hands. As a kid he was right there with them, helping dig and replace the old clay sewer lines that run under Chicago homes. That is the world he came up in, and it taught him early what good work looks like and what cutting corners looks like.
As he got older, he started taking painting jobs on the side. Over time, painting became his trade, and that trade is what launched his career.
The first cabinet, and the habit that never stopped
His first cabinet job was a kitchen in Naperville. He had never painted a set of cabinets before, but he took it on and figured it out. That kitchen led to the next one, and the next, and he spent years refining his technique into the process Fulton uses today. Every kitchen taught him something, and every improvement carried into the next. That is still how the shop runs.
Becoming Fulton Revivals
Joe started taking the business seriously around 2012, building it client by client. He formed his official first company in 2016, and in 2019, His wife Krystal joined him in the company and they rebranded it to become Fulton Revivals. Krystal is the organizational glue that holds everything together. With Joe on the craft and Krystal on the operation, the two of them built Fulton into what it is today.
